As the thrill and excitement of FIFA World Cup matches spreads like wildfire, fans are also looking forward to seeing the best of Tottenham’s stars at the World Cup fixtures.

With Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham all having great players to consider, Spurs on the other hand are home to some of the most undisputed Tottenham World Cup players in history.

Let’s meet the Spurs players who are expected to deliver exceptional performances in the ongoing World Cup. Not only that, most of these players also offer exceptional online sports betting odds should you decide to place a bet.

Harry Kane will lead Gareth Southgate’s team attackingly in Qatar to improve on the 2018 semi-final elimination. Kane set a good example at the World Cup in Russia. The Spurs forward took home the tournament’s golden boot after scoring six goals.

After winning the golden boot, he became the first Englishman to achieve that victory since Gary Lineker during the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.

Kane made a strong start at the 2022 World Cup, recording nine goals and one assist in his 11 Premier League games. He also contributed an assist and scored a goal in the Champions League.

Finally, Kane has some specific goals in Qatar that you can also count on as you attend the World Cup and try to be the first England captain to win the FIFA World Cup since Bobby Moore.

Heung Min son

Heung-Min Son is another Tottenham player set to shine on the World Cup scene this winter.

Son has scored three goals in six games in previous major tournaments. He won one at his first World Cup, held in 2014, while he won two in Russia in 2018.

The Taegeuk Warriors have a strong roster this year. Son and his team will face Uruguay, Ghana and Portugal.

During those games, South Korea may have a chance to advance to the knockout rounds if Son can maintain his Qatar World Cup performance.

Son, who already has a solid reputation in his home country, will earn the respect of many World Cup fans if he can lead Korea to a successful World Cup run.

Ivan Perisic

Perisic, a summer acquisition for Spurs, is a key player in the Croatian squad. Again and again, the versatile player shines with the famous red and white diamonds.

During Euro 2020, Perisic scored two goals and provided an assist in three games to help his team progress through the group stage. Unfortunately, due to COVID, he couldn’t take part in the knockout stage where Croatia lost 5-3 to Spain.

In addition, Perisic’s World Cup record certainly speaks for itself. The Croatian footballer recorded three assists and five goals in ten games in the biggest leg of his career in the 2018 season, making it one of his best outlays.

Christian Romero

Despite some injury problems this season, Argentina’s Cristian Romer is most likely going to Qatar. Romer is his team’s first-choice centre-back so he needs to recover and stay in good health when he starts playing in Qatar.

Romero has a proven track record since joining Argentina. In all of his twelve appearances for his team, they remained undefeated. Despite this, he has contributed to Argentina’s 35-game winning streak.

Romero also took part in the 2021 Copa America and won the Argentine team. Despite only playing in three games, the defender was selected for the CONMEBOL team of the tournament.

The fifth and final Spurs player and Tottenham star with a chance to stand out at the 2022 Qatar World Cup is Richarlison. He’s arguably one of the best Brazilian players to watch out for.

The whole world admires the depth of the Brazilian squad, especially in attack. Additionally, Richarlison’s positionmates Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino have also made positive contributions in the field.

Richarlison is the preferred choice for Brazil. He played 38 games during the Selecao and scored 17 goals.

Final Thoughts
