IBPS PO Net Check COVID Instructions 2022: The IBPS PO Mains 2022 is scheduled to be held on November 26, 2022 by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for the selection of 8432 vacancies as Probationary Officers (PO)/Management Trainee (MT) in 11 participating banks in India. Candidates have until November 26, 2022 to download the IBPS PO Mains Admit Card 2022. IBPS PO Mains 2022 will only be held for candidates who have qualified for the IBPS PO Prelims 2022. Candidates must achieve a high rank in the ranking of merit in order to be shortlisted in the selection process.

Penalty for wrong answers

There is a penalty for wrong answers marked in the objective tests. For each question where the contestant has given an incorrect answer, a quarter or 0.25 of the points allocated to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, ie the candidate does not mark an answer, there is no penalty for that question.

IBPS PO Mains 2022: Exam Guide

1. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes. [20 minutes compensatory time for every 60 minutes (1 hour) of the examination time for PWBD candidates eligible for compensatory time.] The clock is set on the server. When the timer reaches zero, the exam ends by itself. You do not need to complete or turn in your exam. The descriptive paper is managed online immediately after the online goal test. Candidates must answer the Descriptive Paper by typing it into the computer.

3. Answering a question:

Procedure for answering a multiple choice question:

a. Click on the button of one of the options to choose your answer. Click the button of the chosen option again or click the Delete Answer button to deselect your chosen answer. Click a different option button to change your chosen answer. You MUST click the Save & Next button to save your answer. Click the Mark for Review and Next button to mark the question for review. Only an answer marked for review will be considered for scoring.

b. If you want to change an answer you’ve already answered, select that question and follow the steps to answer that question again.

NOTE: Candidates cannot answer questions or review their answers after the timer has expired. Responses are automatically saved after the trial period is complete, even if candidates have not clicked the submit button.

IBPS PO Mains 2022 COVID Guidelines

1. Candidates must be at the exam location strictly at the time indicated on their Admit Card. Latecomers are not allowed to enter the premises.

2. The assignment of the candidate role number and the laboratory number will be communicated individually to the candidate at the time of entry at the examination location. It will not be posted outside the exam location.

3. Permissible items at the examination site are:

  1. Mask (wearing a mask is mandatory)
  2. gloves
  3. Personal transparent water bottle (candidates must bring their own water bottle)
  4. Personal Hand Sanitizer (50ml)
  5. A simple ink pad with a pen and blue ink.
  6. Exam-related documents (Pre-examination convening letter together with copy of ID card (duly notarized/stamped). Main exam convening letter and photocopy of the associated photo ID and the same original ID. The name on the ID and so on should be exactly the same as the call letter.
  7. In the case of Scorer Candidates – Scorer Form duly completed and signed with photograph attached. Other items are not permitted within the venue.

4. Candidates are advised not to share their personal belongings or materials with anyone. Candidates are also advised to observe social distancing and stand in line as directed at the exam site.

5. If a candidate uses the services of a scribe, their scribe must also wear a mask and bring their own gloves, N95 mask, sanitizer (50ml) and a transparent water bottle.

6. Candidates must have the Aarogya Setu app installed on their mobile phone. Candidates must display their Aarogya Setu status at the entrance gate and then turn off their phones. Phones will be left in the designated location for candidates to pick up upon exit.

7. All candidates and their scorers will be screened at the entrance gate with thermal guns to record their body temperature. No candidate with an above-normal temperature (> 99.14 °F) may enter the exam site.

8. Candidate Registration:

  • A photograph and a biometric right thumbprint are captured for candidate registration. The same will be compared with the photo that the candidate has uploaded in their application form.
  • A photograph is taken of the candidate in a standing position. Then the seat number will be assigned.

9. Base Sheet, Call Letter and Proof of ID

  • Candidates can only use the raw sheets provided at their assigned desks.
  • Candidates must strictly follow the exam and COVID instructions issued at the exam location. All candidates are required to leave their rough sheets, ID cards, admission cards, writing forms in the designated boxes at the exit of the lab or room or as instructed by the exam officials when exiting the exam site.
  1. Post-test controls
  • At the end of the exam period, a right thumb biometric check is performed on each candidate. All candidates leave the examination site in an orderly manner and in accordance with the instructions of the examination officials.
