Chiefs American Indian Heritage Month Game is Sunday; Important fan information announced

Fans unable to attend Sunday’s game can tune in to WDAF-FM (106.5 The Wolf), the Home of the Chiefs Radio Network, as “Voice of the Chiefs” Mitch Holthus, former Chiefs WR Danan Hughes and sideline reporter Josh Klingler the action. Tico Sports will produce a Spanish language show on KPRS Hot 103 Jamz HD2 (103.3.2 FM) and on KSSA La Ke Buena (105.9 FM) with Enrique Morales, Oscar Monterroso and reporter Hannah Bassham. Both radio shows can also be streamed via the Chiefs mobile app within a 50 mile radius of the Kansas City metro area. Sunday afternoon’s national game will be broadcast on FOX (locally WDAF), where play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt, analyst Greg Olsen and sideline reporter Erin Andrews will deliver the call.

Stadium gates and mobile access

All gates of the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium will open at 1:30 p.m. for the 3:25 p.m. kick-off. Gates for guests with tickets at the CommunityAmerica Club level open at 1:00 PM. Guests will be reminded to access their mobile tickets and parking passes prior to the event and add them to their mobile wallet for faster entry.

The Ford Tailgate District, located in Lot M on the north side of the stadium near Lancer Lane, is a free area for all fans to enjoy pre-kick-off drink specials, food trucks, tailgating games and live entertainment . The Ford Tailgate District opens at 11:30 am on Sunday and features performances by DJ Lazer and Travis Marvin.

The Chiefs introduced the GEHA deck in 2019 as the home for two game day traditions – the Drum Honoree and the Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader. Chief Gary Batton, Chief of the Choctaw Tribe, will serve as Drum Honoree this week, while Patti DiPardo Livergood, Chiefs Cheer alumna and daughter of Tony DiPardo, will serve as DiPardo Spirit Leader.

To celebrate the franchise’s 60th season in 2019, the Kansas City Chiefs introduced the Lamar Hunt Legacy seat at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. For each home game, the club selects a season ticket member to be honored with this special recognition. The two gold seats are located in section 121 of the lower shell, symbolically positioned under the name of Lamar Hunt in the team’s ring of honor.

This week’s Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat award winner is Dr. DeAngela Burns-Wallace. dr Burns-Wallace is Administrative Secretary and Chief Information Technology Officer for the State of Kansas. She is the first African American woman to hold either of the two cabinet seats in the state’s history. dr Burns-Wallace has been a season ticket member for 10 years.

Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle

The beneficiaries of this week’s 50/50 Sweepstakes are local hunger relief organizations. Raffle tickets are 10 for $10, 60 for $20, and 150 tickets for $40.

Fans who are not at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday can also enter the Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle by visiting or via the Chiefs Mobile App. Online sales are currently active, but fans must be in the states of Missouri or Kansas at the time of purchasing a ticket online. Personal raffle tickets will remain on sale through the end of the third quarter. The winning ticket will be announced at the stadium and posted online during the fourth quarter of play and winners do not need to be present to win. Credit and debit cards are the only forms of payment accepted by 50/50 Raffle Vendors.

All concession stands and retail outlets are completely cashless. In addition to traditional credit/debit card scan and chip reader options, all brick-and-mortar outlets offer mobile tap or scan payment options including Chiefs Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. Street vendors and vendors in the stadium are only available by credit card.

The NFL Clear Bag Policy applies to all events at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Fans can visit for important information on the clear bag policy and a full list of permitted and prohibited items. While there is a clear bag policy, guests are encouraged to avoid bringing bags into the stadium to speed up their entry process. Fans can visit for a full list of permitted and prohibited items.

Guests will experience smoother entry this season through new CEIA OPENGATE security control technology at all stadium entrance gates. As guests approach the stadium, they should keep items in their pockets and/or clear bags as they pass through the new advanced screening devices, following the instructions of security personnel. All fans should move through the screening gates at a normal pace as there is no need to wait or stop for the person in front of them unless instructed otherwise.
