The No. 16 Florida State Seminoles, 8-3 (5-3 ACC), take on the Florida Gators (6-5, 3-5 SEC) for senior night at the Fresh From Florida Sunshine Showdown Friday at 7 p.m :30 p.m. EST aired on ABC. This marks the first time in the history of the series that the two teams will go head-to-head on a Friday night, giving both programs the spotlight during prime time.
FSU is in a four-game hot streak after rolling over the Louisana Ragin’ Cajuns 49-17, and the Gators are in the doldrums, losing to Vanderbilt 31-24 last weekend.
The game has officially sold out and has been running since late September, with all eyes on the Seminoles looking to finish their regular season strong in hopes of ending up with ten wins.
Florida leads the all-time streak 37-26-2 and is currently on a three-game winning streak against the Noles. This will also mark the first time the two head coaches will face off on the gridiron, as UF recently hired Billy Napier, who is in his freshman year at the helm.
According to DraftKings, FSU is currently a 10-point favorite.
