While you might be ready to enjoy a Thanksgiving holiday, television offers viewers plenty to get into the holiday spirit with a wide variety of marathons and fan-favorite programs.

Whether you’re looking for a good laugh with comedy such as modern family, His fieldor The officeor you’re more into family dramas like Gilmore Girls, The Godfatheror yellowstone, there is something for everybody. Below we round off the selection with the program board for Thanksgiving 2022, which is sure to satisfy every taste.

The Godfather on AMC

In what seems to be an annual tradition, AMC hosts a film marathon centered around one of film’s most famous families – the Corleones. Starting at 6am/5am the network will be broadcast The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone who will follow The Godfather and The Godfather: Part II. The rest of the day the films will be played in repeated presentations on the channel.

Spend Turkey Day with the Duttons as Paramount Network launches yellowstone The marathon starts at 11:00 a.m. / 10:00 a.m. The all-day program event covers all of Season 1 and concludes the evening with the first two parts of Season 2.

The 153-episode binge-a-thon known as GilMORE the Merrier is back as UPtv entertains viewers with non-stop episodes of Gilmore Girls. The revelry runs throughout the week, culminating in the broadcast of Gilmore Girls: Year in the Life starting Sunday 27th November at 7/6c. Hosted by star Michael Winters, the event will also feature watch-and-win sweepstakes, hourly trivia and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.

Movies galore on MTV & VH1

Both MTV and VH1 are celebrating the holiday with a solid film schedule. From 10:00 a.m./9:00 a.m. c on MTV, viewers can expect a lineup consisting of The blind side, Naturally blond, bridesmaidsand mean girls with an encore presentation by The blind side. Meanwhile, on VH1, the movies will start at 11:00/10:00 a.m clueless followed by Dirty dancing, titanicand Forrest Gump.

United States Harry Potter Relay a message

USA Network hosts its Harry Potter Marathon on Thanksgiving, beginning of the day with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at 6:30 p.m./5:30 p.m. c followed by Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkabanand Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The next day, Friday November 25, viewers will be able to see the remaining films in the franchise Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.

TNT kicks off Turkey Day with several Will Ferrell favorites Blades of Glory at 12/11c followed by stepbrothersand Eleven. Other films in the film lineup include Christmas holidays from National Lampoon and back-to-back presentations of the Elton John biopic rocket Man.

Marvel’s Movie Marathon on FX

Looking for a super solid lineup of Marvel movies? FX is your best spot as they start their board at 10am/9am Thor, with Chris Hemsworth. After the first film, viewers can look forward to presentations from Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengersand Black Panther. There will be a brief hiatus in Marvel content at 9/8c when the network offers viewers a Disney+ special Andor. The Marvel lineup is completed with Avengers: Infinity War which will begin next Andorwent.

Travel Channel’s fan favorite ghost adventures dominates the network’s Thanksgiving programming, with episodes airing from 8/7 a.m. to 4/3 a.m. the next day. A brand new episode will be in the series and will air in the 10/9c time slot.

Back to the Future on Bravo

Bravo will be on from 12/11 p.m Back to the Futureand its sequels Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III twice for a day-long movie marathon that gives viewers plenty of time to join Marty (Michael J. Fox) and Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) in a years-long adventure.
