Switzerland have shown some fighting spirit in recent international tournaments, which could pay off if they get out of the group stage for the fourth time in their last four World Cup appearances.

Cameroon has struggled to take part in this tournament in the past. However, they bring an exceptional and 100 percent Eric Choupo-Moting to Qatar which could give them a positive result or two.

BRAZIL vs. SERBIA

  • Time: 2 p.m. ET
  • Where: Lusail Stadium (Al Daayen, Qatar)
  • Channel: FOX, Telemundo
  • Electricity: FuboTV, Sling, DirecTV Stream, Peacock

There is no question that Brazil are the favorites to emerge victorious from Group G. With players like Neymar, Richarlison, Antony and others at the helm, the Brazilian team has the potential to at least make it to the quarterfinals.

This is Serbia’s third appearance at a World Cup as an independent nation, having won at least once in their trips to South Africa and Russia but failing to make it through the group stage on both occasions.

Brazil have won both games against Serbia since 2014, including in the group stage at the 2018 World Cup.

URUGUAY vs KOREA REPUBLIC

  • Time: 8 p.m. ET
  • Where: Education City Stadium (Doha, Qatar)
  • Channel: FOX Sports 1, Telemundo
  • Electricity: FuboTV, Sling, DirecTV Stream, Peacock

Critics and analysts alike say Uruguay have what it takes to win Group H. While they have only made it to the round of 16 in each of the last three World Cups, they have made at least the last eight in three of the last four Copa Americas.

After Korea’s surprise semi-finals in 2002, they have only made it out of the group stage once and have won just once at each of the last two World Cups. They were also eliminated in the quarterfinals of the last AFC Asian Cup three years ago.

Uruguay and Korea have met twice at a World Cup, with the South American nation winning the group stage in 1990 and the round of 16 in South Africa 12 years ago.

PORTUGAL vs GHANA

  • Time: 11 a.m. ET
  • Where: Stadium 974 (Doha, Qatar)
  • Channel: FOX, Telemundo
  • Electricity: FuboTV, Sling, DirecTV Stream, Peacock

Although Portugal still have veteran Cristiano Ronaldo on their side, that doesn’t mean the superstar can lead this team to glory. Since winning Euro 2016, Portugal have only made it out of the group stage twice in the last three World Cups, including a first-round rebound in South Africa.

Ghana have always been a tough nut to crack at the World Cup. Despite not qualifying for the World Cup four years ago, the West African nation has the potential to pick up a few points and challenge for second place in the group.

When they met in Group G at the 2014 World Cup, Portugal beat a side from Ghana who ended up without a win.
