MESSAGE FROM THE CEO: Moving the Business Forward – Boca Raton’s Most Trusted News Source

Good morning, dear chamber member,

A week has passed since the general election. The chamber’s Business Leaders United Political Action Committee (PAC) had 14 supporters in the election. I am pleased to report that the PAC, led by Chairwoman Maureen Jaeger, was successful in 12 races!

congratulations to Governor Ron DeSantis, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, Attorney General Ashley Moody, State Senators: Tina Polsky, Lori Berman, and Bobby Powell, State Representatives: Kelly Skidmore, Joe Casello, David Silvers, and Mike Caruso, Palm Beach County School Board Representatives: Marcia Andrews and Edwin Ferguson to their victories.

We also congratulate Peggy Gossett Seidman on their victory in the State House, District 91, and Marcia Smoak-Woodward on their victory in the Palm Beach County Commission, District 4. We look forward to working with all of our elected officers to ensure job growth and economic prosperity in the State of Florida, Palm Beach County, Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Boynton Beach.

Happy new chamber year! In November, the Chamber will start a new financial year! You should have received your Chamber Renewal Application by both post and email. If you consider reinvesting with us, we hope we can continue to be your valued partner, a trusted source for important information, and the organization you turn to to achieve your goals and create economic prosperity.

During our monthly new member orientation, I often share an analogy about how chamber membership compares to a gym membership. The theory is, the more you hit the gym, the better results you’ll get. The more committed you are to your membership, the more benefits you will receive. However, a key difference between a chamber membership and a gym membership is that no matter how many events you attend or how much you work with us, the chamber continues to work for you. Thank you for your support and for allowing us to be your trusted partner. We look forward to a successful year together in 2023!
