Ottawa, Canada – November 24, 2022 – Today Ross Video announced it had won two Best Ottawa Business Awards (BOBs). This was celebrated at the annual Best Ottawa Business (BOBs) Awards and Gala, where Ross Video was announced as the winner of Best Business and Best Performance in HR awards.

The Best Company award is one of the most significant awards at the ceremony and is selected based on the winning company’s growth initiatives, financial strength, market position and commitment to society. Ross was selected for its status as an industry leader in the marketplace, 30 consecutive years of growth and strong public relations efforts.

The “Best Performance in HRThe award is given to a company based on a notable people initiative the company has implemented over the past year. At Ross, the first HR initiative highlighted was the introduction of improved leave policies that include maternity, parental and adoption leave, as well as sickness, family medical and compassionate care. The aim of these extensions was to better support employees and their families in challenging times. Additionally, Ross’ HR team worked with the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) to qualify for initial certification and be the first to be certified Canadian Compassionate Company (CCC), the first of its kind in Canada.

“Ross is proud to be recognized as a leader in the Ottawa business community and honored to receive both awards,” said Mary Clement, Vice-President of HR at Ross Video. “During the pandemic, the HR team has worked diligently to support our employees by implementing work-from-home policies, flexible working options and additional mental health and well-being programs.”

Ross Video also recently announced that it was also named one of Canada’s 100 Best Places to Work. For more information on available positions at Ross Video click here.
