UPSC Civil Services Mains Result 2022 will be published shortly, read the official announcement

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to release 2022 Civil Services Mains (CSM) earnings shortly. The Commission issued a statement saying that it would begin conducting personality tests, or interviews, of candidates who qualify for the CSM 2022 from early next year. “Candidates for the Civil Service (Main) Examination, 2022 (CSM2022) are informed that the result of this examination is expected to be announced,” the statement reads. Candidates awaiting results can view and download the announcement from the UPSC official website. Once approved, candidates can download their results using the candidate’s login ID on the portal.

It should be noted that a detailed application form-II (DAF-II) would be available for applicants on the Commission’s website for a certain period after the result of the 2022 civil servant (main) examination was announced. Candidates who qualify for the personality test or the interview round are advised to complete and submit their DAF-II within the allotted time frame. The submission of the DAF-II (only in online mode) is mandatory for all passing candidates. If a candidate fails to submit their DAF II online form by the required time limit, their candidacy will be cancelled. No further application will be considered in this regard.

During the participation in the personality test or the introduction round, candidates are advised to have all relevant documents in the original and a self-certified photocopy of each ready.

The required documents are:

  • Original matriculation/higher secondary school/equivalent certificate.
  • Original diploma for graduation or equivalent examination
  • A certificate of equivalency (if you graduated from a foreign university)
  • Planned Caste/Designated Tribe/other backward classes certificate (if applicable) or Income and Wealth Certificate for economically weaker sections.
  • Disability ID card (PwBD) in the prescribed format
  • From certificate for states like Manipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim.
  • Commitment “B”/Candidate Self-Declaration for Individuals with Benchmark Disabilities
  • Ex-soldier certificate
  • Documents supporting college qualifications and extracurricular activities, if any.
  • Two recent passport photos (approx. 4 cm x 5 cm)
  • Photo ID as specified in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I).
  • OBC/EWS category candidates must upload the OBC/EWS attachment along with DAF-II.

The UPSC Preliminary Exam was held on June 5th and the result was announced on June 22nd, 2022. According to the schedule, the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination was conducted from September 16 to September 25, 2022. Through this UPSC CSE 2022 recruitment exam, the number of positions to be filled is 1,011.
