It’s a well-known fact that NFL games, especially those during the November holidays, get some of the biggest viewership on television, so it makes sense for A-list entertainers to get in on the action. This year’s NFL Thanksgiving halftime shows are no exception.

Who’s Performing on the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Halftime Show?

The Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Classic, in its 83rd year, will feature some of its own top-notch talent. Singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha and DJ David Guetta will perform on the team’s Verizon-presented Thanksgiving Halftime Show.

Who are Bebe Rexha and David Guetta?

Rexha rose to fame in the entertainment industry for penning hits for some of the music world’s most decorated members, including Rhianna, Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas. She then rose to prominence as an entertainer in her own right, teaming up with the likes of Florida Georgia Line for the smash hit Meant to Be and releasing her debut studio album expectations.

“Meant to Be” took the number one spot on Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart for 50 weeks, a record high, and has been certified Diamond for sales of more than 10 million units. It also received a Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Guetta is one of the most successful DJs in the world. He was voted Best DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll three times. The French native has received two Grammy Awards, an American Music Award and a Billboard Music Award, and his music catalog was reportedly sold to Warner Music for around $100 million. Some of Guetta’s top hits include “Where Them Girls At,” “Titanium,” and “Without You.”

The Detroit Lions host the Buffalo Bills Thursday, November 24 at 12:30 p.m. ET at Ford Field.

Who’s Performing on the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Halftime Show?

The Dallas Cowboys have been putting on extravagant halftime shows on Thanksgiving for over 25 years. And now, for the first time, the team has a repeat act dominate the performance. The Jonas Brothers, one of the most recognized pop bands in the world, will take the stage for the packed house at AT&T Stadium.

The show is nationally televised and promotes the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign. The event, known as the Red Kittle Kickoff, celebrates the 132nd year of the campaign.

“We couldn’t be more excited to return to AT&T Stadium and play The Salvation Army halftime show,” said Jonas Brothers. “We are honored that our performance will help raise awareness of the great need and encourage everyone to donate to The Salvation Army to make a difference in their communities this holiday season and throughout the year.”

The Cowboys meet division rivals New York Giants on Thursday, November 24 at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Who are the Jonas Brothers?

The Jonas Brothers’ rise to superstardom began in the early 2000s on Disney Channel, where New Jersey native trio Kevin, Joe and Nick starred on the channel Camprock Movie.

In 2008 they were nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards. They went on a six-year hiatus from 2013 to pursue solo ventures, but reunited in 2019 and released the song “Sucker,” arguably their most successful record at the time.

“Sucker” transcended that Billboard Hot 100and her 2019 album happiness begins reached #1 in the US poster 200. Since 2005, the trio has released five studio albums and just wrapped up a three-day residency at Park MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada.
